How the connection works
Your client, your identity, and your selected account.
Your AI tool sends requests to the MCP Gateway, which routes them to the Magnite service you selected.
| Part | What it does |
|---|---|
| Your client | Connects, opens sign-in, and calls tools |
| Magnite sign-in | Establishes who you are |
| Account picker | Selects which account this connection uses |
| Gateway and service | Route the request and enforce access |
Signing in does not grant new account permissions. A server listed in the public directory may still require access from your Magnite account.
Use the gateway URL
Choose Streamable HTTP when your client asks for a transport. Copy the full URL from the server directory; the server path and environment matter.
You do not need to open Streamr first. Your client starts its own sign-in flow.
Know when setup is complete
A connected indicator means the client established a connection. A tool list means it discovered tools. Finish with a read-only verification to check the account you intend to use.
